This is such a lovely little activity for children of all ages but its particularly great for toddlers as it really supports those all important fine motor skills. It will keep little ones busy for ages AND it will look great displayed in your home. Keep your tree and decorate it with different colours and materials to suit the changing seasons.
YOU WILL NEED . . .
a small tree branch with skinny offshoots
items to thread such as painted pasta tubes, wooden beads, hole punched paper leaves and sequins
1. Hold the tree branch in place on a table or other surface using a lump of plastercine.
2. Thread items onto the tree to decorate.
