LITTLE LEAF NOTECARDS

November 24, 2017

Make these lovely little notecards to send sweet messages or to decorate gifts. They are quick and easy to create and are perfect for making use of childrens' old artwork. So, if you have a drawing or painting that has done its time on the fridge but you just can't face throwing it away, skip step one below and turn it into something new.

YOU WILL NEED . . .

  • clean, dry leaves

  • thick paper/thin card

  • materials to colour with such as watercolour paint, coloured pens or pencils, oil pastels...

  • a pencil

  • scissors

1. Decorate your paper or card by painting and/or drawing all over. Leave to dry if using paint.

2. Turn the card or paper over and use the dry leaves as templates to draw around.

3. Cut out your leaves. This may be tricky for very little ones so an adult may need to help out.

4. Write messages on the back of your leaves and pop in envelopes or use to decorate gifts.

And that's it. Simple!
